Overcoming the Pied Piper's Tune: The Missing Ingredient That's Producing a Missing Generation

Statistically, 80-90% of the children who grow up in Christian homes in America walk away from their faith by the time they are 20. This is a complex and pervasive problem that virtually all Christian leaders are facing, including in the homeschool movement. For 23 years, as full-time staff with Campus Crusade for Christ, we were certainly committed to a lifestyle of evangelism & discipleship on campus, with other peoples kids, but the greater challenge was learning about evangelism and discipleship under our own roof, in our own home. Restoring the "Missing Ingredient" in your home can be what turns your spiritual legacy into a multi-generational reality!

Bernie & Linda BeallBernie & Linda Beall

Bernie and Linda Beall are the founders of Great Commission Families, a local family ministry helping families to "take steps of faith toward greater involvement in the Great Commission." Prior to Great Commission Families, Bernie and Linda were on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ for 23 years. Today, a big part of their ministry is creating family friendly evangelistic outings by giving Christian heritage tours to prominent tourist sites in our area. The Bealls began homeschooling their now grown four children in 1989. Today they have four grandchildren, who all live near Charles Town, while they live in Brunswick, Maryland, not far from where Bernie grew up on his family's dairy farm.
